Why BWitched?
I deeply care for you and our planet and believe that together we can make this world a better place.
BWitched exists to inspire and enable environmentally conscious business owners improve on their marketing, digital advertising and sustainability / regeneration efforts so they can be heard and drive greater impact. I am offering my expertise as a consultant and coach in these areas.
BWitched - Enspiring and Enabling Change for a better planet and self - magically.
Nature is magical and you have the magic in you to drive positive change.
Honesty and transparency guide everything I do. I do not enchant you with jargon and marketing terminology, but rather tell you how things really are.
Environmental consciousness is the (not so) secret ingredient for your own potion of change and guides everything I do.
I love the mysticism surrounding witches. Witches are smart, strong and independent women. They speak for themselves, fight for justice and equality and stand out, are supportive and make this world a better place. And who doesn’t like to add a little magic to their day to day? WHO I AM
Caring for our environment and living ethically (this includes switching to a more ethical bank, changing super, buying organic and local produce where I can, reducing my consumption in general, …) is super important to me. I have been on a journey towards zero waste since 2014 and started my own zero waste blog SustainabilityQueen.com to inspire others. You can also find me on Instagram.
After 16 years in the corporate world I decided that it is time to move on and start my own business to fully live by my values, something I should have done years ago. |
My experience spans from digital advertising (SEM / PPC / Paid search, social advertising, programmatic) to marketing and business operations across agencies, tech companies and publishers (Yahoo). I have led teams of up to 20 people, worked virtually across continents and on my own. I have experience across various industries like finance, travel, retail, education and more.
Over the last few years I have started to volunteer a lot of my time in addition to my paid work. I initiated Adobe's local sustainability team in 2014, introduced an integrated CSR and Sustainability strategy and had Adobe awarded Bronze member status at the NSW’s Office of the Environment and Heritage (OEH)’s Sustainability Advantage program.
As a volunteer board member and marketing director I have helped save and turn around the Manly Food Co-Op, a community-owned and -run organic bulk grocery store on Sydney’s Northern Beaches that had been around for over 20 years, but was in financial distress in 2017. A successful crowdfunding campaign, re-structuring, cost savings and smart use of social media, email and other (mostly free) marketing activities have turned things around and the Co-Op is now thriving and set up for future success.

Because of my love of dogs I volunteered at Monika's Dog Rescue for over 3 years in different roles as kennel hand, dog walker, enrichment and customer service volunteer. Working with rescue dogs has deeply impacted me, seeing the trauma that most of them have gone through.
After 12 years in Sydney, I have moved to sunny Queensland at the end of 2019 with the dream to own a piece of land, build sustainably, grow my own fruit and veg, adopt at least one dog, get some chooks and do what I love:
Enabling others to live and do business sustainably and ethically and spread the word about the good they do.
Sounds interesting? Want to talk? Then please get in touch. I am looking forward to connecting.
